Open Access & Open Science Policy

The Journal follows the policy of the open access (Open Access). All the articles are located permanently and free of charge at once after the issue’s publication. The full textual access to the Journal’s scientific articles in the real time mode  is presented in the official web-site of the Journal (see Archives). This Journal uses the LOCKSS system for distributed archival storage of published content.

All numbers are kept in the Maksymovych Scientific Library of the Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University and National Library of Ukraine named after V.I.Vernadskyi

It complies with the definition of open access by Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI). The licensing policy of the Journal is commensurate with the majority of public access and archiving policies.

All works are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License. It gives an opportunity to read, to load, to copy out, to expand, to print, to search, to quote or to refer to the full text of the article in Journal.

Principles of responsible assessment

The editorial practices of the journal embody the recommendations and approaches set out in the DORA Declaration (San Francisco Declaration on Research Assessment). Therefore, the editorial board adheres to the general DORA recommendation, including not use journal metrics, such as impact factor, as an auxiliary indicator of the quality of individual scientific articles.

 

Compliance with FAIR principles

The editorial board of the journal is convinced that all research-related data should be searchable, open, compliant with generally accepted standards, and reusable (FAIR — Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable).

We ask authors to store the data underlying their research in appropriate repositories.
