Policy on Obtaining a Mandatory Ethical Approval

The editorial board adheres to the principles of academic integrity, ethical responsibility, and the requirements of the current legislation of Ukraine in the field of scientific research, and ensures compliance with internationally recognized standards of bioethics and the protection of human rights.

If a study involves surveys, questionnaires, interviews, focus groups, sociological research, psychological research, or the collection of personal data, the editorial office requires the submission of an official decision (approval) issued by a bioethics committee.

The absence of the relevant document constitutes grounds for:

• refusal to accept the manuscript for consideration;
• suspension of the editorial process;
• return of the manuscript to the author without peer review.
