Aims and Scope
The main objective of the Journal is a comprehensive coverage of theoretical and applied aspects of modern linguistics; solving topical, promising, controversial issues of linguistics in its multiple research paradigms; highlight the results of the latest research and achievements of linguistics; promotion of the development of the national linguistics, its theoretical and practical achievements in the interrelation with other branches of social and humanitarian knowledge, in particular philosophy, cultural studies, social communications, psychology, sociology, history, etc.
The Journal targets:
- coverage of theoretical and applied aspects of modern linguistics;
- promoting the development of innovative linguistic directions in their syncretic relations and paradigms;
- promotion of the results of innovative linguistic investigations of Ukrainian and foreign scholars;
- exchange of relevant scientific information among leading Ukrainian and Slavonic linguists;
- implementation of topical linguistic ideas into practical life;
- development of Ukrainian linguistics in the context of global socio-humanitarian space.
Issues of the Journal: current problems of development of linguistics and language communication. The Edition presents results of explorations in such linguistic areas as history and stylistics, theory and philosophy of language, media linguistics, linguistic expertise and legal linguistics, business and political linguistics as well as other modern linguistic directions.
Short-term development prospects of the Journal: increasing international recognition, in particular due to ranking of indexing of journal publications in scientific databases Scopus and Web of Science, growth of the citation index (impact factor), etc. This is envisaged by the Charter and Editorial policy of the edition.
The main task of the Journal is promoting of modern linguistic ideas in Ukrainian / Slavonic scientific context.
The main principle of the Editorial work is academic integrity and transparency, scientific objectivity, impartiality to partial subjects and / or individual authors, healthy professional competitiveness, promoting of innovative linguistic directions.
