Abstract

This article is devoted to the study of structuring the concept of "Jesus Christ" in the New Testament’s text. The subject of study is: lexical-semantic tools that that are connected with the analyzed units by text communications. Methodology of concept’s comprehensive analysis is made on the field basis, when basic unit of study is conceptual field – meaningful category, established in homogeneous text’s linguistic units connected with the concept. This approach had allowed to identify concept’s interpretative areas that formed by conceptual fields. Classification of lexical-semantic tools that are connected with words – concept nominees, was made in this article, as well as there were discovered their system connections and identified a number of studied concept’s key characteristics. Setting the hierarchical relationships between these tools made it possible to conduct an integrated description of the concept as a complex text construct. Text representants of “Jesus Christ’s” conceptual nomination in the New Testament show structures, formed by units that identify main directions of its reflection in the New Testament’s text. Content of the leading text concepts is formed in accordance with the pragmatic text’s goals; their relationships and interactions determine its semantic frame.
