Antiplagiarism system

The scientific digest «Actual issues of Ukrainian linguistics: theory and practice» accepts for publication only original materials and articles which have not been published before or submitted for publication in other journals (see Ethical policy of the edition).

According to international requirements for Scientific integrity the editorial board adheres to norms of correct reference to scientific sources.

The editorial board uses Anti-Plagiarism system for detection of academic dishonesty, particularly licensed virtual programs Antiplagiat and eTXT.

Reprint of foreign articles (parts of articles), published earlier and / or translating citations in other languages without proper bibliographic reference is also considered plagiarism. The editorial board verifies the correctness of the original source references inconsistency with which is considered academic dishonesty and can be a reason for the refinement of the article and / or its rejection.

Self-plagiarism. The editorial board does not support excessive use by the Author of individual quotations and parts of scholar’s other articles (up to 10% of references to texts published earlier is admissible). Any cases of self-citation should be supported by bibliographic references.

Texts that reveal plagiarism (self-plagiarism) without references to the original source are rejected.
